As Senior Vice President, Engineering & Technology, Rakesh Aneja oversees all Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) product engineering activities, including technology strategy, product development, validation, compliance, and planning functions. He is responsible for leading the engineering organization to deliver innovative, high-quality commercial vehicles at scale.

Aneja has held increasing levels of engineering and leadership responsibility across Daimler Truck North America and Europe for nearly three decades. Most recently, he served as Head of Corporate Development, where he led strategic planning, autonomous technology initiatives, and joint venture development aligned with DTNA’s product and technology priorities.

Prior to this, Aneja held senior engineering leadership roles with responsibility for vehicle platforms, propulsion systems, and advanced engineering programs. His experience spans the full product lifecycle, including concept development, design, validation, and product launch. He has also led global cross-functional teams and worked closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and quality organizations to support large-scale production programs.

Aneja earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
