Daimler Truck North America names Craig Redshaw head of U.S. plant operations

PORTLAND, Ore. (July 23, 2026) — Daimler Truck North America (DTNA), a leader in commercial vehicle solutions, has appointed Craig Redshaw as head of U.S. plant operations, responsible for facilities in Mount Holly, N.C., Cleveland, N.C., Gastonia, N.C., and Portland, Ore. The appointment reflects DTNA's focus on strengthening coordination across its U.S. manufacturing network to support product demand, operational excellence and future manufacturing requirements.

In this role, Redshaw will oversee production performance across safety, quality, and cost. He will work closely with plant leadership teams to align priorities, share best practices to drive greater consistency in production standards and processes.

“As we continue to evolve our manufacturing footprint and capabilities, Craig will help strengthen alignment across our plants and support future production requirements,” said Jeff Allen, senior vice president of operations and head of Daimler Truck Specialty Vehicles. “A more connected manufacturing network will help us respond to customer demand more effectively and continue improving operational performance.”

“My focus is on helping our teams remove barriers and learn from one another,” Redshaw said. “By sharing successful practices and supporting consistent execution across plants, we can improve performance while keeping our attention on delivering for customers.”

Redshaw brings more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing operations, leadership, and continuous improvement to the role. He began his career in manufacturing in 1991 and has led operations across North America. He most recently served as general manager for the Mount Holly and Portland truck manufacturing plants, where he led quality improvements and cross-plant performance initiatives that strengthened coordination between sites.
