CHARLOTTE, N.C. (September 29, 2026) — Daimler Truck Financial Services USA LLC (DTFS) today celebrated the official opening of its North American headquarters in Ballantyne, marking a significant milestone in the company's continued growth and long-term commitment to customers, dealers and the Charlotte region. It builds on Daimler Truck's longstanding presence across North and South Carolina, where Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) and DTFS together employ approximately 9,000 people. The investment further strengthens the company's manufacturing, sales, distribution and financial services footprint in the region.

Attendees included Gov. Josh Stein, North Carolina Secretary of Commerce Lee Lilley, local officials, business leaders, and DTFS employees.

The new headquarters will bring together around 350 DTFS employees from multiple office locations, along with newly hired team members, in a modern, collaborative workspace designed to foster innovation, strengthen teamwork and deliver customer-focused financing, leasing and insurance solutions.

DTFS's investment in North Carolina and future growth plans support economic development throughout the region. Bangston's remarks were echoed by global DTFS leadership, which highlighted the strategic importance of the North American market to the company's long-term plans.

Located in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte, the headquarters serves as the central hub for DTFS's North American operations, supporting customers and dealers across the United States, Canada and Mexico. The new headquarters in Mecklenburg County represents an investment of approximately $7.8 million. The expansion was supported by the Job Development Investment Grant, reflecting North Carolina's commitment to attracting and retaining businesses. DTFS continues to recruit talent in the Charlotte region to support its planned growth and future business needs.
