PORTLAND, Ore. – (Oct. 17, 2022) – Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) announced today
that Brian Daniels has been appointed as vice president, vocational national accounts,
effective Nov. 1. In this role, Daniels and
his team will continue to support truck equipment manufacturers, while
identifying growth opportunities for Daimler Truck North America’s vocational
fleet business. He succeeds Richard
Saward who will retire after a 42-year tenure at DTNA.

Daniels began his
career with DTNA in 2006, working as powertrain product analyst, where he
fostered and developed customer and dealer relationships identifying product
solutions to meet their needs. Since then, Daniels has held positions of
increasing responsibility in various functions including, marketing, product strategy
and on-highway national accounts. Since 2019, Daniels has served as director of
sales and distribution at Daimler Trucks Remarketing.
Daniels earned a
bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western Michigan University.
