Recruitment Scam Alert

Unauthorized recruiting mails in the name of Daimler AG

We have recently been made aware that individuals claiming to be representatives of Daimler AG are conveying fraudulent offers of employment (along with other deceptive materials) in the name of Daimler AG and its associated family of brands. The offers and materials come from unauthorized individuals and organizations fraudulently recruiting and / or headhunting on Daimler AG's behalf or claiming to work for or be associated with Daimler AG.
Please take note that any such activities are not authorized by nor linked in any way to Daimler AG. All such activities must be regarded as a criminal, unauthorized use of the Daimler AG family of brands and directors' names with the intent of starting a "recruitment scam."

Please don’t answer to these offers

Neither Daimler nor any of its family of brands would ever ask for upfront fees or payments during the recruitment process. A formal recruitment process is required of all individuals successful in gaining an employment offer, whether directly or indirectly, from a Daimler AG company. Please note that any communications would originate from a verifiable Daimler AG e-mail address and not from a webmail account domain, such as hotmail.com, gmail.com, yahoo.com, etc.

Some common warning signs that an employment offer is fraudulent include:

Until it is certain that both an employer and an opportunity are genuine, never release personal information or upfront payments such as that listed above. If you have disclosed any of the above information to an individual or website you do not trust, please consider reporting this to your local law enforcement agency.
